Playing around with a different painting style... kinda fun made my head hurt though X.x

I think the girl stands out too much but tell me what you think.

Yeah, the mech lacks definite lines and contrast which make it look like some sort of illusion.

The bottom of the girl's right foot is too straight which is awkward from the bird's eye view you used.

the mech is too blurry, hence the lack of contrast, maybe try add thicker or sharper lines to the mech

hrmm... ill have to play around with it a bit... not sure i want to use thicker lines... so maybe some rough highlights or something....

np, how bout make the colours sharper on the front arm and slowly blend in towards the other arm?

better now, as a tip, next time, try to change the whole pic into greyscale to see the contrast effectively
